Seasonal Startup

  • Inspect Components: Before starting, change oil and filter, check that all mist system parts—nozzles, tubing, and connectors—are intact and clean.
  • Ensure Proper Installation: Verify that the system is securely installed as per the manufacturer’s guidelines, with all connections tightly sealed.
  • Flush the System: Run water through the system without nozzles attached to clear out any debris or dirt from the tubing.
  • Attach Nozzles: Reattach misting nozzles securely, ensuring they are free from obstructions or buildup.
  • Connect to Water Supply: Carefully connect the system to a clean and reliable water source with adequate pressure.
  • Test Water Pressure: Turn on the water supply and check for leaks or inconsistent pressure before full operation.
  • Power On: If your system is motorized or automated, connect it to a power source and switch it on.
  • Adjust Settings: Fine-tune the mist output to your desired level using system controls or valves.
  • Monitor Performance: Observe the mist system in action to ensure even coverage and identify any potential issues.
  • Perform Regular Maintenance: Schedule routine cleaning and maintenance to keep your mist system functioning efficiently.

By following these steps, your mist system will be ready to deliver consistent cooling or humidity control whenever you need it!

Winter shutdown/ Winterization

Mist System Shutdown Procedure

  • Turn off the mist system at the main control panel or power source.
  • Close the water supply valve connected to the misting system.
  • Release any remaining pressure in the lines by opening the misting nozzles or using the system’s pressure relief valve.
  • If applicable, disconnect and drain any water storage tanks or reservoirs associated with the system.
  • Inspect the system for any debris, clogs, or damage that may need attention prior to next use.
  • Store all components, such as nozzles or hoses, in a clean and dry location to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Document the system’s condition and any maintenance performed during the shutdown.

Following this procedure ensures the mist system remains in optimal condition and ready for future use.
